I ALREADY KNOW SOMEONE AT YOUR CLIENT’S BUSINESS. CAN YOU STILL HELP ME GET A JOB THERE?

Maybe. Generally speaking, your relationships are yours to keep. We don’t like to step on toes, and we won’t submit you to a hiring manager that you already have a relationship with. So if you see an open job with that person, go ahead and submit your resume yourself. That said, if it’s a large client with many divisions, and we’re working with someone in a different department from your contact, then we can still represent you to our client. With a client that big, chances are the hiring managers in different departments don’t even know each other, so there are no toes to step on.
